General Responsibilities:

BJ Machinery, a company selling industrial & construction equipment, seeks a knowledgeable, talented, people-oriented person for a Sales position at our location. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated self-starters who want to gain valuable industry insight. We are seeking to appoint an experienced and pro-active Heavy Equipment Sales supplier of earthmoving and construction equipment.

This position is directly involved in identifying customer needs, coordinating activities of inventory delivery and control, and sales. Some of the other responsibilities include...

• Answer customer calls and concerns
• Schedule delivery and pick up of equipment you have sold
• Maximize sales revenue through excellent customer service
• Close sales from inbound inquiries and successful outbound telemarketing and appointment setting sales
• Provide customers with expert advice on equipment selection, operation and maintenance

Requirements:

• Ability to effectively work on multiple assignments in the fast paced environment of the heavy machinery sales.
• An attention to detail
• Customer service focused skills
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Knowledge of heavy machinery a must
• Ability to engage in verbal interaction with customers
